Finally, the former Victoria Station, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its striking façade and iconic statues, awaits your admiration.
Continuing your itinerary, Aurangabad unveils two extraordinary sites. The Ellora Caves, housing the world’s most expansive monolithic monument, and the Ajanta Caves, celebrated for their exceptional rock paintings.

Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai, welcome and check-in at hotel. Short visit to Colaba
Day 2: After breakfast, you’ll set off on foot from the hotel to discover the Colaba district. At the foot of the Gateway to India, you’ll embark on a cruise to the Elephanta caves.
Day 3: You’ll explore the city’s Victorian monuments on foot to discover their unique architecture. You’ll end your journey in front of the CST railway station to discover this unique station that is still in operation today.
Day 4: Transfer to Aurangabad by train. Visit a himroo workshop.
Day 5: After breakfast, off to visit the Daultabad fort. Although not yet a UNESCO site, it deserves to be, with its unique defense systems. After lunch, you’ll explore the city of Aurangabad, which was India’s capital in the 17th century.
Day 6: After breakfast, explore the Vetawadi fort. Lunch will be taken at a local’s home. Then you’ll visit the Anwa temple, an 11th-century marvel. In the evening, you’ll spend the night in the village of Undangaon, in a 300-year-old house.
Day 7: The Ajanta caves are world-famous for their rock paintings. You’ll explore this very important spiritual center between the 5th and 7th centuries.
Day 8: Head for the Ellora caves. This unique site boasts 36 caves representing 3 different religions. After lunch, visit Khuldabad, the 14th-century capital of Sufism.
Day 9: Return to Mumbai by train.

At the time of booking, you pay 10% of the tour total. The balance is due two months before departure.
- In the event of border closure:
- Up to one week before departure, the tour will be fully refunded.
- From 7 days before departure, the trip will be refunded in full, less booking fees (approx. 80 euros).
- In the event of cancellation :
- 60 days before departure: 100% refund
- between 60 and 30 days before departure: 50% of price refunded
- between 30 and 15 days before departure: 25% of price refunded
- no refund will be made for cancellations made two weeks prior to departure.
